What Medical Conditions Prevent Me From Receiving Laser Therapy?

If you are currently pregnant, or have received a steroid injection in the last 48 hours, or currently have cancer, laser therapy should not be used. If you have epilepsy or are taking photosensitive medication you are able to receive laser therapy as long as you inform us prior to the therapy session.  If you have pacemaker, you may want to inform your doctor prior because he / she may require a check-up afterwards.

How Do I Prepare For My Laser Therapy Treatment?

  • "No Smoking" 2 hours prior to your appointment
  • "No Caffeine"  2 hours prior to your appointment
  • Throw away all cigarettes, ashtrays, lighters, etc. (Before your appointment)
  • Keep very busy, and surround yourself with non-smokers
  • Clean your clothes to get rid of the odor
